monomial

İngilizce - Türkçe

MONOMIAL
A monomial is a type of algebraic expression that consists of only one term, which can be a constant, a variable, or a product of constants and variables raised to non-negative integer exponents. For example, 3x, -7xy^2, and 2a^3 are all examples of monomials. A monomial can be added, subtracted, multiplied, and divided by other monomials and polynomials to form more complex expressions. Monomials are often used in algebraic equations, and they are an important concept in algebra, as they provide the building blocks for more complicated algebraic expressions.

Monomials can be classified based on the number of variables they contain. A monomial with only one variable is called a univariate monomial, while a monomial with two or more variables is called a multivariate monomial.
