BASILECT
In linguistics, a basilect is the lowest or least prestigious form of a language or dialect. It is typically spoken by members of a socioeconomically disadvantaged group, such as an ethnic or linguistic minority, and may be characterized by nonstandard grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

The concept of basilect is often used in creole studies, where it refers to the variety of a creole language that is most heavily influenced by the substrate languages and/or the pidgin that served as the basis for the creole. Basilect is considered the least prestigious form of a creole language, and is typically associated with lower social classes. In contrast, the acrolect is the most prestigious variety of a language or dialect, and is typically associated with the upper classes or educated speakers. The mesolect is an intermediate variety that falls between the basilect and acrolect in terms of prestige and linguistic features.
