Bu kalıpta boşluğa bir sıfat veya belirteç girer. 

I was so tired that I couldn't move my arm.

O kadar yorgundum ki kolumu oynatamıyordum.

The short story was so interesting that I read it in one day.

Kısa öykü o kadar ilginçti ki onu bir günde okudum.

He ran so fast that I couldn't catch him.

O kadar hızlı koştu ki onu yakalayamadım.

He drove so slowly that we reached there at midnight.

O kadar yavaş sürdü ki oraya gece yarısı vardık.

Kalıpta boşluğa 'much + sayılamayan isim' veya 'many + sayılabilen çoğul isim' gelebilir. Buradaki much ve many, yalnız başına da kullanılabilir.

He drank so much that he got drunk.

O kadar çok içti ki sarhoş oldu.

He drank so much beer that he got drunk.

O kadar çok bira içti ki sarhoş oldu.

He asked so many questions that I got bored.

O kadar çok soru sordu ki sıkıldım.

So ... that kalıbında that kullanılmayabilir.
