ACAJOU
Acajou, also known as mahogany, is a type of hardwood that comes from several different species of trees in the Swietenia genus, including Swietenia mahagoni and Swietenia macrophylla. The wood is known for its durability, attractive reddish-brown color, and resistance to moisture and decay, which makes it popular for use in furniture, cabinetry, and musical instruments. Acajou/mahogany is native to tropical regions of Central and South America, and is also grown in parts of Asia and Africa.
